The Shippon

The Shippon is a converted barn sleeping six in three bedrooms and two bathrooms, set in St Gennys near Bude on Cornwall's north coast. From here you can reach Crackington Haven beach in three miles, Widemouth Bay in six, and a string of characterful villages—Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle—within easy driving distance. Coastal paths start on the doorstep for anyone who wants to walk rather than drive.

Inside, the ground floor holds a sitting room with a wood burner and a kitchen/dining room fitted with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and the other essentials for cooking. Upstairs are two further bedrooms. Two bathrooms serve the property, each with a bath and shower. A utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, as is the fuel to get the wood burner going when you arrive. There is private parking for three cars on site and a small lawned garden with a patio, barbecue and furniture outside.
