About Western Meadows Glamping
Tucked into wildflower meadows beside the River Kensey, Western Meadows Glamping offers a proper dose of luxury for those who want camping without the hassle. Each safari tent comes fully kitted out with all bedding, towels and kitchen basics, plus a welcome pack with tea, coffee and a little adult treat to get you started. The real showstopper, though, is the private wood-fired hot tub on your covered veranda – perfect after a day exploring the Cornish countryside.
Families are well looked after with a play area featuring swings, climbing frame and volleyball net, while three communal firepits with river views provide sociable evening gathering spots (or you can simply retreat to your own veranda if you fancy some peace). The facilities are genuinely comfortable: double-size showers, flush loos, mains electricity and soft drinking water throughout.
Two large tubs of wood per week are included for the range cooker and hot tubs, with extras available for a charge. Cars stay in the hard-standing slate parking area at the field entrance, keeping the meadows peaceful and pristine.

Went with family and had more than enough beds (one king sized, two single which can be put together to make a double and a secret double bed hidden away in a sort of cupboard). very great experience for the two nights and had scones upon arrival. brilliant wood fired hot tub and amazing cooking facilities. great value for what you get and very friendly owners. would 100% recommend if going on holiday in cornwall.

Back from a wonderful weekend in the Safari tent. Quiet and peaceful location with lots to do in the surrounding area. The wood fired stove kept the tent toasty warm and the hot tub was amazing. The tent is very well equipped with everything you could need. Fresh scones with cream and jam on arrival. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 teenagers.

Had a fabulous week here. Beautiful, peaceful location. Safari tents are outstanding and have everything you need. Very comfortable and fantastically well looked after. Stargazing from the hot tub was amazing. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Couldn't fault anything and cannot wait to return.
