The Granary

Couples and small families will find The Granary suits a quiet break away from it all. This converted grain store sits on 10 acres of grounds near Hidden Valley, about 4 miles from Launceston town centre. The cottage is entirely yours—no shared facilities—with parking on site and an enclosed courtyard garden where you can sit outside or fire up the barbecue.

The layout is split across two floors. Downstairs holds a double bedroom with its own shower room, plus a second bedroom with two single beds and a separate bathroom. Upstairs is one open-plan space: a living area with a woodburner and television, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped to cook proper meals. A washing machine and tumble dryer are in an external utility room. For entertainment, there's a games room with a pool table and table tennis.

Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included; logs for the woodburner are provided too. One dog can stay for free, and you'll find a cot and highchair if needed. The property does not permit smoking. Bear in mind the cottage draws water from a borehole, and there are steps down to the courtyard; a lake sits 165 yards away in the grounds. Launceston itself has shops and pubs, while Trethorne golf course is about a mile away.
