This semi-detached cottage dates from the 1600s and sits directly across from the sand at Gorran Haven. It's genuinely close to the beach—close enough that coastal views and sea air are part of the everyday experience here. The building has been restored while keeping its character, and it works as a complete rental for families or groups of up to six.
The layout spreads across three floors. On the lower ground floor: two single beds and a shower room with separate toilet. The ground floor holds an open-plan living space with a wood-effect electric heater, dining area, and kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals—oven, hob, dishwasher, and the rest. A double bedroom is also on this level. Upstairs, a third bedroom contains two single beds (for children). Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The cottage provides storage for bikes and kayaks, which matters in a location where water sports and cycling are obvious activities.
Gorran Haven village has a pub and restaurant within walking distance. The area works well for families: the beach is immediate, the South West Coastal Path starts nearby, and destinations like Mevagissey (fishing trips, pasties), the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the Eden Project are short drives away. One dog is welcome to stay free. No smoking inside. Parking is available in the public car park 200 yards away.
