Bee Cottage
Cornwall

Reawla is a quiet village in Hayle, close enough to Gwithian beach for a morning swim or afternoon walk, yet set back from the road. Bee Cottage is a traditional stone building with an enclosed garden where children and dogs can roam freely, and parking for two cars on site. The recent refurbishment has left it comfortable without losing character, with essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included, plus Wi-Fi throughout.
Downstairs is open plan: a living room with smart TV, dining area, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Upstairs holds two bedrooms—a kingsize and a twin—and a bathroom with bath and shower. The owners have installed a wetsuits rail in an outside building and cleared space for bikes, paddleboards and surfboards. The rear garden has furniture and a barbecue, and a bike store keeps equipment secure.
Gwithian beach is tidal with rock pools at low tide and a lifeguard during summer; a café sits opposite the car park. Carbis Bay, Porthminster and Porthmeor are about three miles away, flatter and sandier. St Ives, just over three miles off, has cobbled streets, a harbour and numerous places to eat. The cottage takes one pet free of charge; no smoking indoors.
