Bude View

Bude View works well for families or groups wanting space to spread across one storey without stairs. The four bedrooms comprise a king with an en-suite shower, and three rooms with twin beds and electric blankets. A second bathroom has a bath and shower. The living room has a log burner and bay window overlooking the coast; a well-equipped kitchen handles self-catering, and there's a washing machine and separate dryer for sandy clothes.

The house sits within a mile of the coast, close enough to Northcott Mouth for a quick trip but also positioned to reach the South West Coast Path on foot. Bude itself—with its sea pool, surf schools, shops and restaurants—is a short drive away. Beach towels and bodyboards are provided for impromptu sessions in the water. Days tend to fill themselves: long walks with big skies, time on the sand at low tide, or sheltering by the fire after the wind picks up. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking.
