Chy An Mordros opens onto a bright living room with a smart TV, leading through to a kitchen where you can prepare proper meals—it has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and full-size fridge and freezer. You are 100 metres from the beach at Riviere Towans, on a stretch of sand that extends three miles towards St Ives. The dunes behind provide access to coastal paths, and the beach itself suits families and people wanting to swim or try water sports. A pub nearby offers an alternative to cooking. In the other direction lies Hayle, where Paradise Park wildlife sanctuary and other attractions keep children occupied on days the weather doesn't cooperate.
