Cornish Hamlet - The Mill

The Mill is the oldest building at Cornish Hamlet, a collection of seven luxury properties built around a converted mill complex. What makes it distinctive is the structure itself: the original 16th-century mill building has been extended with new bedrooms, creating a split-level layout where you can actually see the working parts of the old mill. Open a door in the kitchen and you'll find the water wheel; walk through the house and exposed stonework and timber from the original building appear throughout. The property sleeps eight across four bedrooms—two doubles and two singles on the upper floors, plus a second shower room on the ground floor to cope with the number of guests.

The main cottage spans three levels with a substantial living room on the first floor overlooking countryside, kitchen and dining space on the ground floor, and two bedrooms upstairs. The extension has its own entrance and houses the two additional bedrooms. Parking for two cars is on site. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included.
