Dolphins suits couples after a seaside break, families wanting somewhere manageable, or small groups of friends looking to share. This 18th-century fisherman's cottage sits in St Mawes village within walking distance of the water, and the enclosed garden gives you outdoor space without fuss. One dog or cat is welcome.

The ground floor holds a kitchen with a cooker, microwave and washing machine, leading through to a dining area. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a twin—plus a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The first-floor living room has a TV and glimpses across to the River Percuil. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included.

St Mawes has shops, restaurants and pubs within the village, and ferries depart from here for Place, Falmouth and Truro if you fancy exploring further. The beach is a minute's walk away. There is a public car park nearby at a small charge. No smoking in the property.
