South Cottage

St Mawes is a working fishing village with the sea at its centre. Tavern and Summers beaches are a short walk away, and the foreshore steps are directly opposite. The harbour itself is lined with independent restaurants and cafés, while Truro—with its cathedral and high street—lies ten minutes' drive inland. South Cottage sits on Marine Parade with views across the water; the bedrooms and living room both face the bay.

The cottage is compact, designed for a couple with a young child rather than a large family. Downstairs holds a living room with a wood-effect electric fire, television and DVD player, plus a kitchen/dining room where you can prepare meals. There is a cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, one bedroom has a king bed and water views; the other, smaller room has a bunk bed suitable for a child under twelve. A family bathroom serves both. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided, and the kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, hob and washer-dryer. There is no smoking in the cottage.
