What visitors say

Flying Fish

At the very top of the hill there is a large car park and a path to the portcullis of the entrance. £13,50 per adult. There is the garrison from the WW I , a gift shop, a kiosk, the old castle of King Henry with many levels and a great view, the half moon cannons and a control room with lots of green grass in between. Men love the visit.

The castle is alright, very spread out, and few stairs. But the cattle is nice, the sea view is nice too. But the barracks don't offer much. And the castle empty rooms, but you know, it's not National Trust. But overall, it's good.

Pendennis Castle is always good to visit, I’ve been here many times. The grounds are well maintained, as is the castle. Fantastic far reaching views, out to sea and in land. It’s a little exposed if it’s windy, but nothing a winter coat wouldn’t fix. Highly recommended.

Great day out. Us and the dog thoroughly enjoyed our half day here and even joined English heritage on our visit. The cafe and shop were amazing aswell as the friendly helpful staff.
