St Dennis sits inland from Newquay, surrounded by moorland and nature reserves rather than seafront crowds. Elmfield Lodge is a traditional granite cottage on the edge of the village, within walking distance of a pub, shop and café. The rural setting means genuine quiet, though the coast and Newquay's attractions are close enough for day trips.
Inside are two bedrooms—a king with an en-suite toilet and a twin overlooking the garden—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. The living space centres on a woodburning stove, with the kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and washer-dryer. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included, as are starter logs for the fire. One well-behaved dog is welcome. You have the whole place to yourself, with off-road parking for one car and an enclosed rear and side garden complete with patio, furniture and barbecue.
The cottage doesn't accept children under twelve and is non-smoking throughout. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
