Greenbank Farm works well for families wanting space to spread out, or two couples sharing. The whole property is yours alone—three bedrooms on the first floor (a kingsize, zip-and-link twins, and bunks), plus two bathrooms downstairs and up. Ground floor has a woodburner living room, a second sitting room without the television, and a kitchen with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine, making cooking for a group straightforward.
The cottage sits on the edge of rural countryside with five acres of natural grounds around it (shared with the owners), though your own front garden is enclosed and private, with seating and a barbecue. There's parking for three cars onsite and an electric vehicle charging point. One dog stays free. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for the woodburner are all included; if you're travelling with young children, a travel cot, highchair and stair gate are available. The property is no-smoking throughout.
Saint Austell sits close to Cornwall's north coast—Carlyon Bay and its beaches are nearby, and Truro with its cathedral and independent shops is within reach. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project both make straightforward day trips from here.
