About Travelodge Bodmin Roche

Free on-site parking right by the A30 makes Travelodge Bodmin Roche a practical stop for touring Cornwall, with St Austell and Bodmin both within easy reach for day trips or overnight breaks. The hotel has 42 rooms spread across two floors, each with an en-suite bathroom and drinks available in the room, plus accessible rooms for those who need them.

Breakfast and a restaurant are on site, and reception is staffed around the clock, so arrivals at odd hours are no trouble. There's an electric vehicle charge point in the car park, and pets are welcome, which suits travellers moving between destinations rather than settling in for a long stay. A pub or bar and other entertainment can be found nearby for evenings out.

Comfortable beds and helpful staff are among the strong points here, and the location makes it a sensible base for routes across the county. That said, some rooms have shown signs of wear and the standard of service has not always been consistent, so it's worth treating this as a functional, well-placed stopover rather than a destination in itself.

Stayed one night for a short trip and, honestly, for £35 a night this place was brilliant. Yes, it’s not luxury and yes, it’s a little dated - but everything was absolutely immaculately - almost forensically - clean. Genuinely one of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in (including luxury hotels), and the large king-sized bed was super comfortable with a great quality modern mattress and bedding. Free parking. Various lighting options in the room. Near Cornwall Services with real variety of services or pub next door (didn't try this). The room had everything we needed, and the fan was a really thoughtful touch. We stayed on the side of the building, so there was some road noise, but that’s to be expected (and frankly, common sense) if you book somewhere next to the A391. With the window open and the fan on, it really wasn’t an issue for us but if you can't bear road noise, it may be an issue for you. Try to stay on the side of the building( we stayed in room 119) or the rooms on the entrance side facing the car park if you're worried about it. Check-in was painless, the room was spotless and tidy, and the bed was excellent. For £35 a night, you really can’t go wrong. Perfect for what we needed - would happily stay again.

A quiet and nice place for rest and vacation. The only drawback is the road next to the hotel, which creates noise. But otherwise, everything is perfect. All that's needed is a little updating of the room decor and updating of the bed frames. It would also be nice if the hotel price included Wi-Fi. Overall, these are good hotels for a quiet holiday.

The room was clean and tidy, but unfortunately the noise from the road was overwhelming. If you’re assigned a roadside room, expect constant traffic noise due to poor soundproofing. It made it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep, so I decided not to extend my stay.

Very basic rooms but clean which is all that matters. Breakfast in a box so check you have all that's supplied as one of our boxes was missing the water, not enough towels which should relate to how many in room, staff friendly enough, thank god pub nxt door 🙂
