Forge Cottage works well for couples or small families after a quieter break. The 200-year-old stone cottage sits in Tredinnick, a rural hamlet with good access to the coast. Two bedrooms sleep four—one with a super kingsize bed, the other with two singles—along with a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and Freeview TV; the kitchen-diner is fully equipped for cooking, with a dishwasher and washing machine included. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered.
Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and furniture is secure for a pet if you're bringing one along—they stay free. There's parking for one car on site. The cottage has character in abundance: exposed beams, a large fireplace, small-paned windows set into thick stone walls, and period features throughout. A few steps lead to the entrance, and the upper garden has no fence between it and the lower patio, worth noting if you have young children.
The Cornish coast is within reach for beaches, water sports on the Camel Estuary, and boat trips. Nearby villages have restaurants, cafés and local shops. Cycling, surfing and wine tasting are all within reasonable distance. The hamlet itself is quiet, making this a genuine retreat from busier tourist areas.
