Perched on high ground with sweeping views over the Camel Estuary towards Padstow, this relaxed campsite strikes a lovely balance between wild camping spirit and thoughtful facilities. You'll find spacious pitches scattered across meadow grass, a well-stocked farm shop selling local produce, and proper hot showers in clean facilities with step-free access. Campfires are positively encouraged, there's a dedicated dog park for four-legged friends, and the whole site hums with a peaceful, back-to-basics vibe that walkers and cyclists particularly love.
The location puts you within easy reach of the Camel Trail, Padstow's harbourside restaurants, and a string of north Cornish surf beaches. Yes, the site can feel fairly basic in places — don't expect bells and whistles — but that's rather the point. It's proper low-key camping done well, with genuinely warm hospitality and those far-reaching estuary views thrown in for good measure.

The most accommodating family run campsite with quite possibly the best hospitality we have experienced. The bus stop right opposite the entrance straight to and from Padstow is a massive plus. No.11 bus. Food like pizza and cream teas served 7 days a week. Sun set Moon rise - August 25 Will return. 100% recommend

Spacious, well kept campsite with fabulous views of surrounding countryside. Good showers and bathroom, spotlessly clean and never had to queue. There was always toilet paper. Host, Judith works tirelessly to maintain the site, prepare the morning coffee and create a warm, friendly environment. Would definitely stay there again. 5 minute drive to Padstow. Next time I'll try the hour long off road walk! 😀

Absolutely gorgeous little campsite; Judith works incredibly hard to keep this site in top condition. Lovely coffee truck and pizza truck keeps everyone fed and watered, and there is a little camp shop with essentials. Phone charging lockers cost £1 for an hour I think, but this definitely helped the kids 😂 Highly recommend this campsite! Thank you Judith!!.

From an initial booking enquiry, right the way through to departure it couldn't have been a better experience.! A super friendly and accommodating site where nothing is too much trouble.! Exemplary service and hospitality on an incredibly well maintained site with everything you could need.! WiFi, Fire Pits to rent, logs, small shop and Bacon Rolls with a smile first thing.!! Can't wait to go back for a great dose of happiness.! Thank you to Judith et al for all you provided.!
