You step straight into Game Larder Cottage's living spaces, all on one level. The layout spreads across a ground floor with a sitting room, dining area, and kitchen opening onto the garden through French doors. The main bedroom has a zip-and-link kingsize bed, with an ensuite wet room; the second bedroom contains two single beds and its own bathroom. One dog can stay free of charge.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. There's oil underfloor heating throughout. The property includes use of an external games room—shared with other guests on the estate—which has table tennis, a football table, snooker and darts. The private lawned garden has patio seating and a barbecue. Parking for three cars is on site, and there's a bike store. An electric vehicle charging point is available at additional cost.

Game Larder sits on the owners' working farm, surrounded by farmland and woodland a few miles from Bodmin and Wadebridge. Padstow's shops and restaurants are a short drive away, as are Polzeath beach and Port Isaac. The north coast—Tintagel, Boscastle and Newquay—lies within reach. The nearest shop is three miles away; a pub is two miles distant.
