Hadleigh Lodge

Little Petherick sits inland from Padstow, close enough for the working fishing harbour and coastal walks but far enough to feel genuinely peaceful. Hadleigh Lodge is a Canadian timber lodge designed for groups wanting their own space: three bedrooms across two floors, two bathrooms, and rooms spread generously enough that six guests won't feel cramped. The ground floor holds the main living and kitchen area with French doors onto a decked garden; upstairs, a galleried sitting room and the largest bedroom with its own ensuite and access to a balcony.

The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge—rather than just a camping setup. The garage contains a freezer, table football and darts if anyone wants to stay in. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The large enclosed garden means children can be safely outside, and you have parking for three cars on the property. No smoking throughout.

Padstow itself is twenty minutes' drive away: genuine working boats, seafood restaurants, independent shops, and the coastal path. The Saints Way long-distance route and River Camel valley are accessible from here too.
