Cornwall

Camelford sits on the edge of North Cornwall, close enough to the coast for a quick trip to Bude or Tintagel, yet inland enough to reach Bodmin Moor without much effort. Home Park Cottages – Number Two is a three-bedroom property designed and run by its owners, sleeping six across one and a half floors. The main bedroom has a king bed and en-suite; two further bedrooms each contain twin single beds. A second bathroom with both bath and shower serves the upper floor, while a separate toilet sits downstairs.
The kitchen handles proper cooking, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and French doors opening onto the garden. A wood burner warms the living room (initial logs included), and every bedroom has a TV. The garden is enclosed and comes with patio furniture and space for two cars to park. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The water supply comes from a borehole rather than mains, and there are steps within the garden. Smoking is not permitted. Shops and a pub are within walking distance, making it workable as a base for family holidays or for guests wanting to explore the stretch between Padstow and Newquay.

Very spacious and comfortable. Great bath! Lovely garden for the doggies. A home from home. Can’t fault.

A lovely place to stay for a family. Roomy and clean with parking for at least 2 cars, 3 at a push (it does sleep 6 in 3 rooms). Only real issue we had were that the mattresses felt cheap and poorly supportive. Otherwise a great stay.

We are heading home today, after staying here for 4 nights. The whole cottage is beautiful, clean, warm and welcoming. We enjoyed it so much that on the third day we stayed in due to the weather not being great (which we don’t normally do) but with such a lovely cottage to stay in, it wasn’t a hard decision. I accidentally left my insomnia sensory device in one of the bedrooms and after a quick phone call to Jane, she found it for me and is posting it to our address. I feel like this really took our stay above and beyond. I can’t thank Home Park Cottages enough for our fantastic holiday and their brilliant customer service
