Well Barn is an 18th-century converted barn at the end of a no-through lane in a small hamlet of seven houses. The property comes fully equipped for self-catering: electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included, along with wifi and logs for the wood burner. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook properly or travel light. Downstairs there's a living and dining room with a woodburner and Freeview TV; French doors open to the garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double and one with bunk beds—and a bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle.
The south-facing garden is private and enclosed, with patio seating, a barbecue and furniture. There's a small folly for a bit of quirk, and an external utility room with freezer space. The converted barn has kept its character—exposed beams, stone walls and slate floors—but is carefully cleaned between guests. Parking is on site. The hamlet itself is genuinely quiet and rural, though a shop is a third of a mile away and a pub a mile. Trebarwith Strand beach is 4½ miles off; Camelford is 1½ miles. The Camel Trail for cycling or walking can be reached at Wadebridge (9 miles) or Wenford Bridge (4 miles). Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock and Polzeath are all within easy reach. Note that there is a shallow ornamental pond in the front garden, unfenced.
