Little Nook

Little Nook comes fully equipped for self-catering, with electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels all included. The kitchen is fitted out for cooking—dishwasher and washing machine take care of the practicalities—and the open-plan living space doubles as entertainment, with a pool table, arcade games, smart TV and red chesterfield sofas. Underfloor heating runs throughout. The two bedrooms sleep four: one has a super-king bed with walk-in dressing area and garden views, the other a twin with two full-size singles, also overlooking the grounds. There is one bathroom per floor, and travel cots, bed guards and highchairs are available for younger children.

The property occupies the south wing of a historic manor house in Millbrook village, surrounded by private gardens and stone walls beneath ancient trees. A conservatory, sun-trap patio and garden dining area with barbecue open onto these grounds. The village itself sits on the Rame Peninsula, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a pub within a mile and local shops nearby. Coastal walks lead to Penlee Point and Rame Head, where an 11th-century monks' chapel stands; Whitsand Bay's sandy beach is about a mile away. The twin villages of Cawsand and Kingsand are accessible on foot, and the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro are a short drive. Smoking is not permitted inside.
