Little Whiteleigh

Little Whiteleigh suits couples after their own space in the countryside, or those travelling with a dog. The cottage sits within six acres of Cornish grounds, a short drive from both coast and moorland. It's a single storey property with everything on ground level: sitting room with woodburner and Freeview, kitchen with electric cooking, bedroom with a double bed, and shower room. Parking is available for two cars, and there's a secure bike store.

The essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—come as standard. Logs for the woodburner are provided. A patio at the front gets the sun, and the enclosed garden gives dogs a safe place to run. Dog day care can be arranged locally if needed. Horses are welcome; stabling and grazing are available. The cottage does not permit smoking.

Widemouth Bay's beaches lie six miles away, popular with surfers. Bude's town centre, castle and restaurants are nine miles off. Walking, coastal paths, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moors are all within reasonable reach. The nearest shop, pub and restaurant are two miles down the road.
