What visitors say
This is a wonderful site. If you're camping, in your caravan, or staying in one of the brilliant cabins on site. The hosts are always welcoming and pleased to see you. Nothing is too much bother. The bar and restaurant on site are great and serve home-made food to a good standard. They even do takeaway if you don't want to sit in their restaurant. We will definitely be staying here again.

What an amazing find! Stayed three nights in our motorhome. Wish we could have stayed longer. A warm welcome from all the staff and owners who showed us our pitch. The site has fishing lakes and sheep and cows in the fields. The shop and pub are popular with visitors and locals and you feel so at ease there. The food is amazing! We will be back!

Had an absolutely fantastic short break here. The staff and owners were very welcoming and friendly. The grounds were immaculate, great fields and views ,with lakes at the bottom. The accommodation was brilliant. Clean and tidy on arrival . Good privacy and excellent views. The bar was the place to be, great atmosphere , all the locals, staff very friendly. The food was really good, I would recommend the mixed kebab . Overall I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend to everyone

We're riding bikes from Lands end to John o groats via the very scenic route. Found this thriving campsite out of nowhere when we really needed it. We asked about a one night stay in our tiny backpacker tent. The owner said it would be £1000 with a smile. Then said it would be £0, popular campsite, Great pub in a 'shed' with tasty food, great guest beer, friendly owner and staff. Well worth a look. All the punters here look very happy with their lot.
