Lower Trethinna Cottage
Cornwall
Lower Trethinna Cottage sits in a small hamlet well inland from the north Cornwall coast, far enough from main roads to feel genuinely secluded yet close enough to the A30 that exploring the county takes minimal effort. The village shop and pub are 3 miles away; the nearest restaurant 2½ miles. The beach lies 14 miles north.
This Grade II listed property has two bedrooms—a double and two singles—and one bathroom, sleeping up to four. Ground floor rooms include a living space with woodburner and TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and all the basics. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. The cottage has original slate floors, exposed beams and high ceilings throughout, furnished with antique oak and stripped pine pieces. One small dog stays free of charge.
Behind the cottage are two patio areas within an enclosed garden, where there is furniture and space to sit. Parking for one car is at the front; additional on-street parking is available nearby. The property does not permit smoking. Note that the cottage has steep spiral stairs.
