Maple Leaf Cottage is built from Canadian timber, giving the place a distinctive character quite different from local stone cottages. The lodge sits near Wadebridge in a quiet corner of North Cornwall, close enough to several beaches to make them practical for a day out, yet far enough back to feel properly removed from the coast.
Everything unfolds on one level across an open-plan layout with a spacious living area, dining space and kitchen. There are three bedrooms: a double with an ensuite shower, a kingsize, and a bunk room; two bathrooms serve the property. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and the usual appliances for cooking properly. Heating and hot water are included, along with bed linen, towels and wifi. A private garden with seating areas opens off the back, and parking for two cars is on site. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
The property suits families or groups of six. It appeals to people who want a base for exploring the Cornish coast without staying right on it.
