Moby House works well for families wanting a proper base on the South Cornwall coast, or for two couples sharing. The village location means you're a five-minute walk from a beach that allows dogs year-round, yet the property itself is private and self-contained across three floors. There's parking for two cars on site, and an enclosed garden with courtyard if you need outdoor space without leaving the grounds.
Inside, bedrooms are split across the upper floors: a double on the first level, a kingsize on the second, and two singles on the third. Two bathrooms service the property, one ensuite to the kingsize. The ground floor opens into a living and dining space with kitchen to one side; you can cook full meals here with an electric cooker, dishwasher and everything else needed for self-catering. Essentials like electricity, linen, towels and wifi are included. One dog stays free.
Looe sits nearby with fishing boats, sandy beach and cafés. East along the coast road, Rame Head offers cliff-top views across Whitsand Bay. Polperro's narrow harbour streets are worth an afternoon. The property is non-smoking throughout.

Very nice property. Sofa a bit uncomfortable but mote than enough facilities. Outside space excellent for catching the sun. Nice family living ne t door on yhe right. Too many recycling options.

Very well equipped clean and spacious property over 3 floors. The owners have thought of everything a guest will need and have provided a true home from home. A lot of thought and effort has gone into the furnishings and layout of the property. Welcome gift of chocolates and wine provided along with some dog treats if you are bringing your furry pals. House is located in a quiet area overlooking a stream and natural flora and fauna covered hillside. Sea can be seen in the distance from the master bedroom balcony. Approx 10 minute walk brings you to the local shop, pub and restaurant along with the beach. We are already booking up again for next year as it suits our needs perfectly.

Pros - House was good. Plenty of room for us 5. Tidy, clean and we'll furnished. Represented fair VFM. Cons - Build quality isn't great (doors don't close easily, walls thin) access to Moby House is via a poorly maintained residential area which is a shame. We never looked forward to returning home at the end of each day. Limited privacy at back of house but neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Downderry doesn't offer much as a location but there's plenty to do in the area around. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
