St Mawes harbour is moments away on foot from Penty Lowen, putting you within reach of the waterfront restaurants, galleries and independent shops that define this small Cornish fishing village. The Roseland Peninsula stretches out beyond, with coastal paths, secluded beaches and countryside pubs all readily accessible by car or a longer walk.
The cottage itself is a three-storey property sleeping six across three bedrooms: a super king with ensuite shower, a standard king, and a twin room. Two bathrooms serve the upper floors. Downstairs, the kitchen has a full set of appliances including dishwasher and electric oven, opening into a dining and living space with a wood-burner. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One well-behaved dog stays free; a travel cot and highchair are available on request. Smoking is not permitted.
A courtyard garden with seating overlooks the village. Parking is available at a public car park nearby, charged separately. The property suits families or groups wanting a base for exploring the peninsula, or couples after a quieter seaside escape with easy pub access.

We had booked our family holiday at Penty Lowen via Air BnB, payed our deposit and looked forward to going in August 2026, the letting agent ( Cornish Keepers - Jessica ) contacted us 3months after paying the deposit to tell us there had been a mistake and we needed to pay £700 more, we disputed this and expected them to honour the booking based on the advertised and agreed amount, she cancelled the booking without any explanation, and blocked us from all correspondence. I am now in the process of trying to contact the owner to report how badly their beautiful popery is being managed.
