Point House works well for couples wanting a quiet riverside retreat, or small families after space without the complication of multiple floors. The whole property is yours alone, with two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), a shower room, and a separate toilet. Everything is on the ground floor. There's an open fire in the living area, a modern kitchen with an electric oven and induction hob, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a sunroom that opens onto a large deck overlooking the water. Parking for two cars is on site, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.
The real draw is the river itself. Point House has direct water access, and Pasco's Boatyard nearby offers mooring if you want to bring your own boat. The deck and enclosed garden are set up for outdoor living—there's a BBQ, sitting-out area with furniture, and room to spread out. Bed linen, towels, and wifi are provided, along with the initial fuel for the open fire. The location puts you within reach of the Roseland Peninsula's gardens and coast, from Trelissick to the Southwest Coast Path, but equally, you can simply stay put with a view of the river and the gentle rhythm of the tides.
