Riverside

Families and larger groups will find Riverside works well for a Cornish break. The house is designed throughout with accessibility in mind—there's a lift between floors, ramps where needed, low-level kitchen surfaces and a wet room on the ground floor. One bedroom has an ensuite; the other two share a shower room. Three bedrooms sleep six, with a double, another double, and a zip-and-link pair of singles.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds the bedrooms and a shower room. Lower ground has the main living space (open plan with dining and kitchen areas), a separate games room with pool table and dartboard, and direct access to the heated indoor swimming pool. The pool is five metres by three metres, between 0.6 and 1.2 metres deep, with a hoist and Jacuzzi. Outside, a large enclosed garden has a decked terrace with furniture and a barbecue. The property is non-smoking and takes one well-behaved pet at no extra charge.

Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and there's a games room, TV and DVD player to keep everyone occupied. Private parking accommodates four cars. Newquay's beaches and town centre are nearby.

At short notice I needed a campervan pitch for one night close to Newquay to participate in a Gig rowing race - Paul at Riverside was very helpful, the pitch was perfect (there’s a pun in there somewhere), the facilities and in particular the lovey hot showers were a real treat. Highly recommend 👍

We have had 2 static caravans on here and found the site just after Paul had taken over. My children was brought up on the site and the children are very safe. People tend to look out for the kids so it is great. A lovely park I would say the best in Newquay. Paul will go out of his way to help people. The little club is lovely had many happy hours in there. My daughter used to go down and Andy would serve her and tell us when we went in.Bingo nights were lovely the kids could play and it was fantastic when they won.A little extra spending money for them. Rules in the pool were very good safety first. Children are soon told off if they get out of hand ie messing about in the shower block. Laundry, take away and a little shop are very good. The static caravan owners are friendly and you can make good friends. All in all I would recommend the site and have done to many friends. The pitches for the tourers are a good size so don't worry about being too close to your neighbour's. Dogs are welcome but please take a poo bag when you walk them. I couldn't say anything wrong with the site at all.

Stayed here for one night in our campervan as part of a road trip around around Devon & Cornwall. A very pleasant site with really friendly and welcoming reception staff. Spotlessly clean facilities. Nice and peaceful at night. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or the bar, but they looked well maintained. However we did enjoy all the friendly rabbits that live on site! Would recommend, or return again in the future.
