Skylark View comes ready for a seaside holiday. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, and the kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals rather than heating tins. There's Wi-Fi throughout. One small dog is welcome. The cottage is non-smoking.

The property spreads across three floors in Kingsand, a fishing village on the Cornish coast. Ground level holds a living room and kitchen-diner with exposed sandstone walls and low ceilings; a south-westerly courtyard with a cherry blossom tree opens from here, useful for afternoon sun and evening quiet. The first floor has a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a bunk area. The top floor master bedroom features a freestanding bath and exposed beams under sloped ceilings.

You're a few minutes' walk from Kingsand Beach, the village's pubs and cafés, and a public car park. The coast and a pub within a mile are both genuinely close. It suits families, groups of friends, or anyone after a proper break by the water rather than somewhere to merely sleep.
