Smugglers Cottage is a single-storey property arranged around one open-plan space: living and dining area, kitchen, bedroom and ensuite shower room all flowing together. The living room has a woodburner and Freeview TV. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, air fryer and washing machine—enough to cook proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. The bedroom contains a double bed (4ft 6in), and the ensuite has a shower, toilet and sink. An enclosed back garden with seating looks out from the cottage, and there is parking for one car on site.
The cottage sits in Trewellard, a village on Cornwall's far north coast between St Ives and St Just, roughly seven miles from Land's End. This is mining country—old tin workings punctuate the clifftops and moorland—and the landscape is dramatic and exposed rather than sheltered. The Southwest Coast Path passes nearby, offering serious coastal walks. Quieter beaches like Porth Nanven are close by, while the busier sands at St Ives are a short drive. The area falls within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Essentials including wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with fuel for the woodburner. One pet stays free. The cottage does not permit smoking.
