Sunny Corner Cottage works well for families, couples and small groups wanting a full property to themselves. Three bedrooms sleep six: a kingsize, a double and a twin. The single bathroom sits upstairs. What makes the place tick is the ground floor – a living room with an open fire, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can cook proper meals rather than just heating things up. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included.

Outside, a decked area catches the sun and comes with garden furniture and a barbecue for eating out when the weather allows. One dog is welcome. You get parking for one car on the property itself, with additional spaces on the road. The cottage sits a short walk from Hayle town centre, where pubs and restaurants line the streets. Hayle Beach is across the main road – an easy stroll good for walking, running, cycling or taking a dog along. The wider area gives you access to both north and south coast beaches, including several known for good surfing conditions. The countryside between St Ives and St Just, where moorland drops to sea cliffs, is dramatic and worth exploring.
