Half a mile from Par Beach and within the reach of Fowey's sailing heritage and south coast scenery, Tegen sits in a quiet cul-de-sac that balances coastal access with village peace. The bungalow itself is compact and unfussy: two bedrooms (a double and two singles), one bathroom, and living space arranged on one level. There's a decked terrace and lawned garden where you can eat outside, barbecue, or simply settle in with a view.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can manage self-catering without fuss. Bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are covered. One car can park on site. The village pub and restaurant are within walking distance, as is an award-winning butchers. Fowey itself—three miles away—offers sailing, kayaking, and dining along the river, while Polkerris to the west has water sports and traditional beach activities. Mackerel fishing trips depart from Fowey for the evening's catch, or explore the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the antiques markets of Lostwithiel within a short drive. Cycle trails, woodland walks and National Trust properties scatter the area around.

Tegen takes families and couples, and welcomes one pet free of charge. No smoking inside.
