The Haybarn

Kingsand is a working fishing village where the high street runs down to the beach, with independent shops, cafes and pubs within easy walking distance. The Haybarn sits in the village centre, so there's no need for a car once you've arrived—the public car park is a two-minute walk away. One dog is welcome here (with an additional fee), though the cottage has no garden.

The property is narrow and tall, spread across three storeys with a living space that feels bigger than it looks. You'll find a dining room and kitchen on the ground floor, equipped for proper cooking with a dishwasher and Belfast sink. The lower level holds a double bedroom and shower room. Upstairs is a twin bedroom and family bathroom, while the top floor contains the king-size bedroom and a cosy sitting room with a wood burner and views out to sea. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms in total means the six of you can spread out comfortably. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the price; bring your own beach towels.

There's Wi-Fi throughout. The cottage is non-smoking.
