The Lodge

The Lodge is a single-storey cottage on the outskirts of Lelant Downs, between Hayle and St Ives. Everything happens on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space with a smart TV and electric fire, a kitchen with a cooker and microwave, and a utility room with washing machine and freezer. Bedroom one has a double bed; bedroom two has a bunk with a double below and single above. There is one shower room. Two cars can park on site.

Up to five people can stay, which works for couples, small families with children, or friends travelling together. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. The cottage includes wi-fi, bed linen, towels, and electric heating; portable heaters are in the bedrooms if needed. A travel cot and highchair are available. The garden is enclosed and suitable for children and dogs to play in.

Lelant Downs sits close to the A30, making the wider area accessible. St Ives has several beaches within walking distance. The Hayle Estuary Reserve is nearby for a quieter walk, and the Southwest Coast Path offers more ambitious routes along the clifftop. Paradise Park in Hayle has outdoor animal exhibits and an indoor play area for different ages. A park-and-ride train station is just across the road. No smoking is allowed in the property.
