You step into The Mariner's Hideaway to find yourself on a single ground-floor level with uninterrupted views across the bay. The living room faces the water, the dining area sits adjacent to a fully fitted kitchen, and two bedrooms connect to a shared bathroom—everything you need within one easy flow. Bed linen and towels are provided, as is electricity, so the essentials are sorted from arrival.
The master bedroom has a king bed with its own shower room, while the second offers twin beds. Both rooms look out to the same dramatic horizon. A terrace extends from the living space, positioned for watching the light change across the water from morning through dusk. The property sits less than a mile from both Carbis Bay's beach and the pubs and facilities of the area. St Ives and Penzance are within reach for day trips, as is Land's End. No smoking inside, please.

It is a beautiful halfway point when you are taking a hike around the area. Beautiful views of the countryside. The food was ok. It is what it is and expected when you are cooking from a food truck. I'm not sure the homemade chicken burgers were homemade, though. They were quite dry. It is a shame that the eating area overlooks the car park and blocks the view. Other than that the staff are very friendly. Prices vary, however, I thought was quite steep, considering. Anyhow, judgment comes from your own experience, and the area is a great place to explore. Hideaway isn't here any longer they have moved to a different location.

Super quick service, lovely area, amazing service and even more amazing food. Lots of different options all reasonable priced. I recommend the Brisket which is cooked and seasoned to perfection. Definetely will be a repeat customer. 👍

Lovely little cafe, been coming back for a few years whilst on our annual holiday. Kind and friendly staff and gorgeous food! Beautiful views of cow fields! Would definitely recommend to anyone!🍩🌻
