Hayle's position on Cornwall's north coast makes it a natural base for exploring beaches, coastal paths, and the wider region. The Old Stables sits in this seaside setting as a self-contained cottage sleeping four across two bedrooms and one bathroom. You arrive after 4pm and have the whole place to yourselves, with a south-facing garden and paved courtyard at the rear.
Inside, the cottage has a living room with wood burner and a separate dining area. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and upstairs the bedrooms are a king and a double. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The single bathroom contains a freestanding bath and corner shower. Smoking is not permitted.
A pub lies within a mile, and the nearby Random Stack Farm B&B marks the locality. You'll find this a straightforward base for the coast and countryside around Hayle, whether you want to walk, swim, or simply spend time in the garden.

this is an amazing campsite, i have visited twice now and i could not recommend it more. the toilets and showers were kept very clean throughout both my stays, the pitches are very spacious, with excellent electric hook ups. this campsite is in an excellent location with short drives to plenty of beaches, as well as being right next to the A30 allowing it to be accessible to many different places throughout cornwall, we will be definitely coming back 👏👏

Campsite is handy location for beach, but it's too far to walk so you have to drive (and parking is £ so should be factored in to cost of camping compared to sites where you can walk to beach). It's also penned in by a busy road one side, and a chicken farm the other side (with a cockeral that wakes everyone up at 5am). Not ideal campsite placement. Site itself is pleasant and facilities are good - showers/toilets are great. Pods are good. Lots of signs saying "NO UNAUTHORISED VISITORS!!" which seems a bit extreme. We had someone come give us a lift and the owner ran over within a minute of them being on site to ask them to leave. Quite offputting, and not what you get on other sites. All in all it's a decent site for the price (the ones in the dunes are better location but also more expensive).

We love this campsite, been going every year now for the last 5 years, its so peaceful. Toilets and showers are all modern and are always immaculate. Owners are always helpful and very welcoming. The food and breakfast truck they have are also great! Only 5 min drive from Godrevy beach and the cliffs, its a perfect location and can't wait to visit again!
