Trecarne Cottage

Trecarne Cottage opens directly onto a courtyard garden with two separate sitting areas, making it a natural base for exploring moorland on foot. Inside, the ground floor divides into two living spaces – one with a wood-burning stove, one with television – separated by the kitchen, which steps down slightly before connecting back out to the garden. Upstairs, two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles) share a bathroom with a bath and shower.

The cottage sleeps four and comes with bed linen, towels and heating included; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed. One car parks on site. Dogs stay free. The village of St Cleer itself has a pub and shop within half a mile, and Liskeard's market town services are a short drive away. From the doorstep, footpaths lead across Bodmin Moor – its famous tors, waterfalls and open moorland visible from many of them. The Eden Project, Lanhydrock House and Plymouth are within reasonable reach; beaches lie ten miles south. The cottage does not permit smoking. Note that the internal stairs are steep and narrow.
