Provence is a converted barn dating from 1824, now arranged as a reverse-living cottage with French farmhouse styling—think open beams and terracotta tiles. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: a king with ensuite on the ground floor, a double, and two singles. The ground floor also has a separate bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, the living room has a 50-inch TV, woodburner and DAB radio; the kitchen-dining room is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. One dog stays free. You have sole use of the whole property, with an enclosed garden patio and parking for two cars.
The cottage sits in a hamlet just over eight miles from the coast, within reach of Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and the South West Coastal Path. Liskeard, two miles away, has a scenic train link to the fishing port of Looe. The Eden Project is ten miles off; Plymouth thirty minutes by car. Countryside walks start from the door. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the woodburner. No smoking inside.

What guests say
A cosy cottage with modern furnishings easily fits 4 people. Very well insulated but if needed a wood burner can be used to give it that little bit of a boost. It's got a very good location close enough to a main road to make travelling around Cornwall easy but not close enough to be a nuisance.

This was our 3rd time staying and it is always a joy. The attention to detail such as having a cold bag and picnic things provided for you to use for a day out, the games room, the strong WiFi for the kids and their all important screens :-) it is these little touches that make it so home like when using one of their gorgeous self contained cottages.

Quiet and peaceful. A loaf would be more helpful on a Sunday arrival than twee biscuits.

Really nice cottages, but finding the right road to use is really important as it is on some tight country roads. Inbetween Plymouth and St Austell, so really convenient for lots of tourist attractions.
