Trenay Barn Cottage

Trenay Barn Cottage is a converted 18th-century barn set within the owners' garden, where wild birds and a stream running alongside create a quieter corner of rural Cornwall. The cottage has two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), a bathroom, and a living space with a solid fuel burner. Oil central heating keeps things warm, and essentials like wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on site and an electric vehicle charging point available at cost.

The layout spreads across ground and first floors. Downstairs holds the living and dining room, kitchen with electric cooker and microwave, and the double bedroom. The bathroom sits on the ground floor too. Upstairs is the second bedroom with single beds. A front garden with partially decked seating looks out over the water; note that the decked area sits above the stream. One dog or cat stays free, though the owners only take couples and families rather than group bookings.

Bodmin Moor's walking routes begin less than a mile away. The A30 and A38 are nearby for reaching both north and south coasts, while Cardinham Woods with its trails and bike hire sits within 4 miles. The village of St Neot is just over a mile off, with Liskeard and Bodmin a short drive away.
