Moonraker sits on the edge of Bude's countryside, three miles inland from the Cornish coast. The apartment occupies a single floor and is yours alone, arranged as one open space where bedroom, living area and kitchen flow together without walls between them.
The bedroom centres on a four-poster super kingsize bed. Beyond it, the living area has a 50-inch smart TV with Blu-ray player and soundbar, paired with comfortable seating for film nights or quiet evenings. The kitchen comes fully equipped to cook properly—electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and all the rest—rather than merely heat tinned beans. In the ensuite, an air-spa bath lets you soak, and there's a separate walk-in shower. A balcony with outside furniture opens off the living space, catching countryside and sea views. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included; private parking for one car sits on site. The apartment is adults-only, with no smoking indoors.
The layout and appliances suit couples seeking comfort and space to cook without fuss. Bude's beaches, shops and restaurants are a short drive away, or you can use the balcony to catch the views without leaving the property.

I cannot thank Rowan enough for the kindness, care and incredible help he showed my parents when they really needed it. They had just had a terrible experience trying to check in at another holiday accommodation and were left with nowhere to stay. It was Saturday evening, they were tired, stressed and understandably very upset, and I was desperately trying to find somewhere for them at short notice. Rowan could not have been more helpful. He went completely above and beyond to help me arrange a cottage for them, and from the moment they arrived, he made them feel so welcome and looked after. He even got them Prosecco and personally met them on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch after what had been an incredibly difficult day. His warmth, friendliness, attentiveness and genuine kindness completely turned their day around. What could have been a really upsetting experience became something they now look back on with such gratitude, largely because of how wonderfully Rowan treated them. He truly could not have been more helpful or caring, and I am so grateful that my parents had someone like him looking after them when they needed it most. An absolute credit to the team — thank you so much, Rowan!

We have been to Wooldown now 4 times. Each time we have visited we have tried out a different apartment. Skyfall, Moonraker, Shooting Star & Sundancer. All have been absolutely faultless. Rowan and the family have welcomed us and have been incredible hosts. Nothing is ever too much and the attention to detail is amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway with an amazing backdrop.

Having had many stays at Wooldown Holiday Cottages they continue to be a fantastic place to stay. Everything you need for a comfortable relaxed stay and excellent base to explore North Cornwall. I highly recommend Wooldown for couples wanting a luxury stay in Cornwall.

Amazing place really peaceful and relaxing 😌 absolutely spotless clean and fresh, Rowan who greeted us was extremely helpful and on call the whole time the bath tub really was the icing on the cake. We visited the little village which was really cute and had our breakfast at the the weir which was suggested by Rowan also. All in all fantastic hopefully we will be back We stayed in the sun seeker room
