Sun Seeker opens directly onto a unified living space where the kitchen, dining and sitting areas flow together without partition. Everything happens on one floor: the bedroom with its super kingsize bed connects to an ensuite shower room, while a separate bathroom houses the focal point—a freestanding copper spa bath positioned in a sun room with a glass ceiling. From here you can see across countryside toward the sea. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and the usual appliances. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided; there is parking for one car on site.
Bude itself sits on the north Cornish coast with a long sandy beach used for swimming and water sports. The Southwest Coastal Path runs nearby for walking, and the town has a working harbour and canal dating to the 1820s. Sun Seeker suits couples looking for a quiet base rather than families—no children are accommodated. The spa bath and sea views make this appealing for anyone wanting a small escape without the shared facilities of a larger holiday park.

I cannot thank Rowan enough for the kindness, care and incredible help he showed my parents when they really needed it. They had just had a terrible experience trying to check in at another holiday accommodation and were left with nowhere to stay. It was Saturday evening, they were tired, stressed and understandably very upset, and I was desperately trying to find somewhere for them at short notice. Rowan could not have been more helpful. He went completely above and beyond to help me arrange a cottage for them, and from the moment they arrived, he made them feel so welcome and looked after. He even got them Prosecco and personally met them on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch after what had been an incredibly difficult day. His warmth, friendliness, attentiveness and genuine kindness completely turned their day around. What could have been a really upsetting experience became something they now look back on with such gratitude, largely because of how wonderfully Rowan treated them. He truly could not have been more helpful or caring, and I am so grateful that my parents had someone like him looking after them when they needed it most. An absolute credit to the team — thank you so much, Rowan!

We have been to Wooldown now 4 times. Each time we have visited we have tried out a different apartment. Skyfall, Moonraker, Shooting Star & Sundancer. All have been absolutely faultless. Rowan and the family have welcomed us and have been incredible hosts. Nothing is ever too much and the attention to detail is amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway with an amazing backdrop.

Having had many stays at Wooldown Holiday Cottages they continue to be a fantastic place to stay. Everything you need for a comfortable relaxed stay and excellent base to explore North Cornwall. I highly recommend Wooldown for couples wanting a luxury stay in Cornwall.

Amazing place really peaceful and relaxing 😌 absolutely spotless clean and fresh, Rowan who greeted us was extremely helpful and on call the whole time the bath tub really was the icing on the cake. We visited the little village which was really cute and had our breakfast at the the weir which was suggested by Rowan also. All in all fantastic hopefully we will be back We stayed in the sun seeker room
