About Felin Uchaf
Tucked down a quiet country lane on a Denbighshire smallholding, Felin Uchaf is a tiny, adults-only retreat where the Berwyn mountains rise on all sides and birdsong fills the air. Pitch among the trees on one of just a handful of spaces, each with its own decked patio for barbecuing as dusk settles. The real draw is what lies beyond: walk straight from site through bluebell woods to a trickling stream and waterfall, or venture further to Pistyll Rhaeadr, one of Wales's tallest cascades and a genuine seven wonder.
Showers and toilets are kept immaculately clean, electric hookups are available, and the welcome from the friendly owners sets the tone for a proper unwind. Cynwyd village—a ten-minute stroll—has a traditional pub and shop, while Corwen offers supermarkets and takeaways. It's basic in the best sense: wild camping comfort without the fuss, and a landscape that rewards explorers.

What visitors say
A group of us with four campers stayed here and we love it. Really friendly owner and located at the end of a natural valet with a river and bluebell walk. The short walk leads to a pair of spectacular waterfalls. Electric hookup available, as well as fire out with logs and a hot tub. Highly recommended, and we'll be back again soon.

What a beautiful little site! 10 pitches but thankfully, during our 3 night stay, we almost had the place to ourselves. It’s the best walk to an Elsan Point I’ve ever experienced and loved feeding the very friendly birds, who weren’t bothered by human presence. We had a walk along the new footpath beside the river Dee into Corwen to have a mooch about. If you want a quiet , peaceful little site in this area, then I would highly recommend Felin Uchaf.

Lovely peaceful campsite and a beautiful location. A small river walk takes you up to a view of the waterfall. Clean showers and toilets, though you do have to pay £1 for 5 min shower. Will look forward to returning when its not going to be a cloudy night and enjoy the dark star filled sky

Great location, very peaceful, lots of walking, cycling, canoeing opportunities. Warm welcome and good information from owner Leigh. A second shower may be useful when it's busy, but other than that we couldn't fault it. We'll be back!
