About Tynant Faerdref Camping Site
Tucked at the foot of the Berwyn mountains near Llandrillo, this intimate CL site offers spectacular views across the Dee valley and direct access to some of North Wales's finest walking country. A public footpath runs along the campsite edge, and the renowned Wayfarer walk passes just a few hundred yards away, making it ideal for serious hikers and gentle ramblers alike. The village shop and pub are within easy reach for provisions and post-walk refreshment.
With only a handful of pitches, the site maintains a secluded, peaceful atmosphere—perfect for those seeking a remote mountain escape. Dogs are welcome year-round but must remain on leads. Facilities are simple, with drainage hook-ups for tourers and chemical disposal, though the real draw here is the unspoiled scenery and walking opportunities rather than on-site amenities.

What a find! If you’re looking for far-reaching 360-degree views, walks in every direction and a friend sly local village then you’ve arrived! The farm is easily accessed - turn by the eggs for sale - grass pitches well kept and open views from every one. Choose your pitch, pick up walking routes from the info shed, head into the village and pick up great local produce including the tastiest bacon which we stocked up with the take home. Returned a week later it was so good - highly recommend.

Delightful site. Peaceful, friendly and a great stress sink. Pleasant view across the hills and far enough from the road for it not to be disturbing. It's a farm in Wales, there may be sheep but they are unlikely to attack. EHU, water and disposal facilities all good, and a nice information shed.
