The roll-top bath is the thing—a proper claw-foot tub with a shower overhead, set in a first-floor bathroom that slots into the sloped ceiling of this 16th-century cottage. Downstairs, a wood burner sits in the inglenook, beams run across low ceilings, and the kitchen has everything needed to cook. One bedroom upstairs holds a king bed and a television; the sitting room below has none, by design. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.
Jasper Cottage stands on a country lane in the Cotswolds near Bromsgrove, surrounded by fields. The Cross Inn is within walking distance, and Cirencester or Tetbury are a short drive away. An enclosed garden with seating looks out over the grounds, and there is parking for one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
