The Downs Barn Lodge

The Downs Barn Lodge is a detached, ground-floor property built in the style of a traditional barn conversion. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Stroud and Cirencester, it sits on natural grounds with a small lawned garden, patio and outdoor table tennis. One dog is welcome to stay at no extra cost, provided it remains on a lead. No smoking is permitted inside.

The open-plan living space contains a wood-burner, Freeview television and French doors opening to the garden. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave—alongside a fridge-freezer and washing machine. One bedroom has a king-size bed with its own ensuite shower; the second has two single beds served by a roll-top bath with shower. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The property uses air-source heat pumping and solar electricity; initial logs for the burner are supplied, with more available locally. Private parking for two cars is on site.

A farm shop and café stands three minutes' walk away. Tetbury and Westonbirt are close by, Cheltenham within 20 miles. The nearest pub is three-quarters of a mile away, and a shop roughly one mile. The grounds allow space for children to play, and families will find attractions across the surrounding villages and hills.
