Large events campsite near Coventry with tent and motorhome pitches; busy during events, quieter otherwise.
About Heart of England Events Centre
Heart of England Events Centre is a substantial campsite near Coventry that operates primarily around scheduled events. It takes both tent and motorhome pitches across a considerable area, making it a venue that scales with demand rather than a small, intimate site. During event weekends the site fills considerably; outside those periods it is quieter and more spacious.
Facilities include showers. The site's character depends heavily on when you visit: expect a busy, social atmosphere during event weekends, or a calmer experience if you're camping between events. Pitching here works best if you're attending something at the centre or don't mind the possibility of sharing the site with event crowds.

What visitors say
I recently stayed in the Shepherd Hut named Ethel, I was quite disappointed with the condition of the hut. It appeared to be quite tired and in need of some attention. I noticed several issues during my stay, including dirty surfaces, loose fixtures and fittings on the doors, a corroded tap, and shower controls that were loosely fitted on the wall. Additionally, the TV was unsteady and had an unstable frequency, making it difficult to enjoy any programs. Furthermore, the lack of Wi-Fi was quite inconvenient. I believe it's important to bring these concerns to your attention as I had expected a higher level of cleanliness and maintenance for the price paid. I understand that wear and tear can occur, but it would be greatly appreciated if these issues could be addressed to ensure a more enjoyable experience for future guests. I hope that you have reviewed and acknowledged this review which is for not actioning my email or enquiry as you would benefit to look into these matters and take the necessary steps to rectify them. I believe that by addressing these concerns, you can enhance the overall quality and satisfaction of your guests' stays.

Went here with all of the cubs and scouts groups they absolutely loved it here we went camping they have a big Lake for multiple watersport activities where my scouts take a yearly raft rase. It was a banging time a wonderful plac3 to go to though the thomous the tank engine train scared the little cubs when they when for a night time pee pee. They have multiple watersport activities to choose from. And all of the groups were verry happy last year because we got a inflatable . Some of the really little cubs got flung back quite vilontly on the bungee cord inflatable. Every year we always have to have the lucky inflatables on the land. Something they could improve is the safety they really need to properly fence of the lake when it's not in use incase anyone has and accident. Overall this is a verry nice place to camp in it has a nice big place to run around in for kids. One of the only downsides is that we all ways accidentally go on weekends when it's supposed to rain. Last year it was showering one one of the cubs tents collapse in the night and got them and all of their stuff soacked. LoL. The toilets could do with a little cLeAn bUt tHe sHoWeRs aRe sO nIcE . Oh dear! This place has soo much potential but clearly isn't at that standard. We hired 2 of the shepard huts, Ethel and Iris, one of which was acceptable but the other had a few issues and when highlighted to staff, they weren't bothered and not even an apology. When we arrived we checked in at the resturant, we asked if we had breakfast included and no-one knew, we then asked what the timinges for breakfast were and again no-one knew. The next morning our friend staying in the second hut had a call from somebody at the venue at 7.50am ish to advise breakfast was available, so they headed down to the resturant and AGAIN staff were clueless if breakfast was included for the 4 of us and we were then told breakfast has stop being served (8.15 at this point). AVOID. ** Reply to response** Thanks for taking it seriously and looking in to it. Whoever you looked at on the CCTV was none of my party as we had checked out before 9am and were at an alternative venue for breakfast by 09:20, so sounds like you have us confused with another party whoalso missed breakfast for the same reason.

I stayed in Pod7 Jill and I couldn’t fault the entire stay, it had everything I needed and if not more than I expected such as the fridge, cooker and smart tvs. The bed was really comfy and the whole pod was clean too, and it the staff were very friendly and welcoming, showing me where to park and going through all of the on-site activities.
