About Premier Inn Coventry South A45

Premier Inn Coventry South A45 is a modern, two-storey hotel with 38 rooms, set along Kenpas Highway on the edge of Coventry. Its compact scale keeps things simple and functional, with free on-site parking right in front of the building making arrivals and departures easy for anyone driving in from Warwick University, the NEC or the city centre.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks-making facilities, and accessible rooms are available. Beds are a particular strength, and the on-site restaurant serves a breakfast with a wide enough selection to satisfy most tastes. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and professional, though a few guests have noted that room upkeep can be inconsistent, so it is worth flagging any issues at check-in. A bar, free WiFi, 24-hour reception and luggage storage round out the practical offering.

Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers golf, fishing and horse riding for those wanting to fill spare time, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment options. It suits both business stays near Warwick University and leisure trips taking in the NEC or Coventry itself.

While this hotel provides a functional stay, the experience was fairly basic. The rooms are average in terms of decor and amenities, and housekeeping limited their service to just replacing towels rather than a full refresh. The breakfast quality was also a bit disappointing and could definitely be improved. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep.

Rooms old and dated but clean and functional. No air con in the rooms and fans were not placed in the rooms had to ask, so with hot weather the rooms get hot. Breakfast is to order and cooked fresh which was good but did not stock all the breakfast options other premier inns have.

My elderly mother needed to leave her house for a short period of time so i booked her into the nearby Premier Inn. Everything was perfect for her but this review is about the two girls I met on reception Emma and Nathalie both being a 100% first class and professional. Looking after my mothers ever need when required...two wonderful girls your company should be very pleased and proud to have on your team. Thank you so much from Thelma and her son Grant.

Stayed here earlier this week. Room comfort was usual Premier Inn standard. However I wanted to give a special mention to Natalie for looking after me so well at breakfast as I have strict dietary restrictions. She ensured that the table was thoroughly wiped down and that all the tableware items were double cleaned and placed on the table for my use only. She also showed me the 2nd oven which is dedicated use for allergy customers and is cleaned before each use. This level of attention completely alleviated any worry I usually have when eating out. I felt completely safe and enjoyed my cooked breakfast. Thank you so much to Natalie and the team.
