Modern b&b with clean & tidy rooms. Self check-in worked well and was easy. The room was quite small, but good value. Only one pillow per person, but they happily brought more. Thin walls, so can be noisy. Would be good to have temperature control. Plenty of on-site parking. Chinese take-away next door (cash-only) which could be handy (we didn't visit). Would definitely stay again

Came to our rescue after a reservation made on Booking.com was at a place which had been closed, and we had no correspondence from either party. After a quick call to The Dakota, we were sorted with 2 rooms which are well stocked and immaculate. Thank you for saving our weekend.

We stayed for one night, arriving shortly after 9 pm. After payment, we were sent a text with instructions and relevant codes for entering the hotel and your room. The room itself was extremely well maintained, clean, and pleasing to the eye. The mattresses and pillows were perfect. Due to the extremely warm weather, the room was a little on the hot side for me, and I did find myself wishing I'd brought an electric fan from home. So if you visit in the summer during a heatwave, keep that in mind. Overall, I'd happily recommend this guesthouse.

We chanced upon this guesthouse whilst searching for an affordable one night stay near Warwick university. The location is perfect to visit Coventry city and Warwick University. The guesthouse is well maintained. There is decent amount of parking for guests. We found the room rather clean except for a stained tea spoon & tray on the tea/coffee area. The double bed is on the small side so it's kind of a squeeze if you are slightly above average in size. Occasionally there is some awful drain smell whenever you flush the toilet or use the sink.
