What visitors say

Ferne Glannan-MacRae

Beautiful and massive nature reserve. Multiple routes through the dunes to the beach which is long and sandy and a river going to one side which had lots of birds. Car park has a lot of spaces but was overflowing when we left mid morning. £5 all day parking via a machine which did card payment only.

Lovely place to explore nature and walk among the dunes and marsh. Take your time, sit still and quiet for a while and the Birdlife seems to come to you. Robins, Stonechats, Dunnock and Chaffinch are a few that I recognise along with Magpies and Rooks. Will visit this place again !

i hiked in from Ogmore Castle but there is a carpark right on the edge of the park with fair prices £2.50 for 2 hours ot £5.00 for all day, loads of paths though the dunes but easy to follow and park has some of the highest dunes in Europe and are a killer but fun to climb and slide down
